The Angels Bar, situated within the Waverley Hotel was last year refurbished and re-branded under new management. The new Landlord Gareth Bain, prides himself on his large collection of spirits and ales, many of which are from the local area and Wales as a whole, spanning from the occasional Purple Moose craft ale, to Penderyn Whiskey.
The staff at the Angels bar pride themselves on the friendly atmosphere, and rapport built with our customers, no matter your background be it student or local, everyone is welcome!

We have sky sports available in the bar, and try to show any and all matches that our customers request!
On Thursdays (from October to June) the Hardest quiz Bangor starts between 9 -9.30pm, bottles of wine for the winners and free entry, whats to lose!?

On Saturday nights all year round, we have Caroloke, a karaoke evening hosted by Carol (hence the name!) this starts at 9pm and carries on until 1 in the morning!
We have a wide selection of good pub food available in our establishment, all of which ingredients are from local suppliers who source their produce from the local and surrounding areas.
